Canon BC-21E compatible cartridge: This is the color cartridge which comes as standard with the BJC-2000, BJC-4000 series, and BJC-5000 services printers. It is a three-part unit comprising of a print head incorporating two ink tanks; one black (BCI-21Bk) and one color (BCI-21C). The color ink tank holds the cyan, magenta and yellow inks in one sealed unit.The black ink tank lasts for approximately 225 pages, and the color tank lasts for approximately 100 pages. You will probably need to replace the whole unit (BC-21e) only when you detect a deterioration in print quality.
